Team of Popshot Magazine have launched a sustainable concept call “Broken Biscuits”, Popshot Magazine`s own twist on the idea of broken biscuits, seconds and perhaps a new way for independent magazine publishers to use up stock that previously was destined for the bin.
In their own words:
"No doubt most people will know of the broken biscuits concept made famous by the rather epic House of Lancaster who sell off boxes of broken biscuits for a painfully low price. Well, we decided to do the same thing with all the copies of Popshot that got slightly scuffed in transit, returned to us or used as copies for photographing or displays. The damage rarely runs any deeper than the front or back cover so while damaged stocks last, you can get a copy of Popshot that we didn`t deem flawless enough to send out to our subscribers, for a low price. Outrageous".

KLAT is a magazine, from Milano, made up solely of interwiews: long ones, in-depth and the best. A date every three months with key players from the worlds of contemporary art, architecture and design.

KLAT #03 presents exclusive interviews to Maarten Baas, Giulio Iacchetti, Florian Idenburg, John Maeda, Markus Miessen, Walter Niedermayr, Richard Sympson, and Oliviero Toscani.
"KLAT #03 – explains Paolo Priolo, publisher and editor in chief – is a summer issue, and summer is time for adventures and challenges. There is the world football cup, for sure, but summer was also the time of the legendary robbery that thirty four years ago, between 16 and 19 July 1976, Albert Spaggiari and his gang committed in the Société Générale in Nice: about a one hundred million francs theft without shedding a drop of blood. A great and anomalous challenge, that above all proved to be an extraordinary reconnaissance and transformation of space: a sewer system seen as a promise of happiness, where dreams and money flowed by. So KLAT #03 is an issue that courts challenges and ideas that swim against the tide, transfigured objects and places, and plans that have turned out unexpectedly well. And so we have the carbonized furniture of Maarten Baas, Markus Miessen’s antidemocratic appeal, the stinging thoughts of Oliviero Toscani, Giulio Iacchetti’s dissenting design. And then the anti-hierarchical images of Richard Sympson, the solid imagination of Florian Idenburg, the refrigerated reality of Walter Niedermayr and the disarming simplicity of John Maeda: “Understanding is crucial today”. In issue #03 there is a new section called Blue Chips, like stocks and casino tokens of the highest value. In our case, Blue Chips refers to images with a high aesthetic value, such as those of Corey Arnold, Geert Goiris, Dan Holdsworth, Peter Bialobrzeski, and Armin Linke. Two images per artist.”
At its third issue, KLAT presents itself in digital format, to read and page through on iPad, Pc, and Mac.
