Adaptive Actions (AA) has been actively creating/generating an online reservoir of urban interventions. In the form of an open invitation, AA operates as a think tank, generating various platforms to induce change in the urban environment.

AA Publications
Each Adaptive Actions' project is extended and revisited by the making of a publication. Submitted adaptive actions, comments and texts are reunited in one communal art book. New ideas for future actions germ from this process. They have published two books for the time being: Madrid and UK.
The Adaptive Action's publication is an interdisciplinary book which explores issues related to architecture and art but also anthropology and sociology. The book's expected readership are people interested in new art, urban architecture and spatial practices, tactics and reflections; persons interested in post-production, urban appropriation, self-management, and creative and singular actions in public spaces.

Behind Adaptive Actions is Jean-François Prost, artist-architect. His interest in new urban research territories — neglected, undetermined spaces, and those over-controlled, with no apparent specificity — has brought him to question the city, architecture and urban material in a non-disciplinary way. Prost's work promotes social engagement, defends the presence of ‘art’ everywhere, at any time.
