Save As... Publications is a publisher based in Barcelona. It was founded in 2008 by Irene Minovas and ferranElOtro. It aims at producing, diffusing and promoting artistic projects in diverse formats (books, CD-R, DVD, vinyl, etc.), with experimental intention, both in content and format. They propose alternatives to the rigidity of the exhibition space a kind of editorial-curatorial-projects.

Miedo de muchos. Los mundos posibles
This CD recounts the car trip of some entities we can neither see nor hear (spectres, spirits, alien waves, etc.) In it, we are able to hear one of their conversations.
They make use of our cars to travel and it's during the night trips when they get more intimate (they talk about their torments, their lives and their deaths). Through their voices we can enter their other world and learn about some experiences that are not shown at our real level.

This publication is a study of one of the temporal resources regularly used in comic to represent movement: kinetic lines. This edition puts together a selection of drawings in which kinetic lines from superhero comic books have been isolated using the digital erasure of the other elements on the rest of the page.
By isolating these elements from the rest of the information, they end up turning into independent objects. These abstractions are no more the context that gave sense to the main action, but the stars of a new story.

Suite for Ordinary Machinery
Musical score written through the transcription of a daily occurrence. The composition was written from the translation –to musical language– of an elevator's movement for ninety minutes. Specific parameters (tempo and tone) were assigned to the passengers' variants (floor and age).
The score is meant to be performed on a cello because of the similarity between this string instrument and the mechanism that makes the elevator work.

Ready Mix
The central hole of Catalan traditional music discs found in second-hand stores has been moved. This ready-made action offers new sounds when listening to the original recording.
The 7-inch vinyl comes with a book of collages in which characteristic elements of Catalan culture and tradition (the castellers, the barretina, the sardana, the gegants, the caganer or all i oli) have been mixed with characteristic elements of the artists' iconography (the noise, the machines, the xerox or the robots).

The headlines of four of the main Spanish daily newspapers (El Mundo, El País, El Periódico y La Vanguardia) are translated using the on line translation service ‘Google Translate’. The so-called resourceful process means translating the original headline –written in Spanish– to a second language; from this second language to a third one; from the third one to a forth and so on -going through every language the translator has- before returning the headline to its original language: Spanish.
This edition collects the results of this process, which was applied to a selection of headlines that appeared in the press from the 4th to the 17th inclusive.

This publication is a travel journey written as a graphic novel. In this comic book, the author sets out to investigate the complex links between the city of Tokyo and the consumption and production of gay comic books.
Without reaching any conclusion, we discover the questions he finds on his quest. Experiences which are told in first person, in a hyperrealistic way, and which are able to take the reader to the physical and conceptual spaces described on it.

This publication gathers the photographies of all the weighed chocolates including the 50,000 g Toblerone.
